Product overview
VibraTip™ is for use by Health Care Professionals and is an easy to use device for the assessment of vibration perception in peripheral neuropathy screening.
VibraTip has been shown to agree well with vibration perception threshold (≥ 25V) and Neuropathy Disability Score for the identification of the ‘at-risk’ foot1. “The VibraTip is a device comparable with the 10-g monofilament and therefore could be considered a useful tool for screening for peripheral sensory neuropathy in diabetes.”2 VibraTip is available to purchase from our online shop.
As a special introductory offer, each VibraTip ordered includes a lanyard (limited offer).
VibraTip was invented by Professor Andy Levy, Professor of Neuroendocrinology, with the support of University Hospital Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. It was designed to overcome the limitations of tuning forks used in testing vibration perception.
